Last month, we attended the 2024 WBENC National Conference in Denver, where we were fortunate to talk to dozens of amazing vendors and professionals in the supplier diversity space. With this being our third appearance at a WBENC conference, we saw the impact of our company on a different level: we’re not just interested in selling socks, but we’re also invested in fostering meaningful connections with our clients. This year’s conference was marked by hugs with familiar faces and forging relationships with our customers.

A particularly powerful moment came from Caesars Entertainment. Last year, we were introduced to Caesars Entertainment at a meet-and-greet table that was a part of the 2023 conference. We mutually saw a place for our socks at Caesars Entertainment, but weren’t able to connect in later months. This year, we reconnected, and the same supplier diversity leader from Caesars Entertainment approached us – wearing our socks! She told us that our socks are the most comfortable ones she owns, and she wears them at conferences because she knows her feet will be sore and tired in socks that aren’t ours. We’ve been thrilled to see the community we’ve built from our commitment to showing up, and we can’t wait to expand our connections in future conferences.

The 2024 RBC Heritage Golf Tournament is in full swing, and we’re fortunate to be a part of this famous Hilton Head, South Carolina event this year! Historically, the tournament attracts over 100,000 spectators and generates an estimated $102 million for the state, featuring some of golf’s biggest names. The RBC Heritage’s Signature Event status even ensures the best golfers on the PGA TOUR – defending champion Matt Fitzpatrick will be competing for the coveted plaid jacket!

At Spirit Sox USA, we pride ourselves on giving back to the communities we serve – and RBC does, too. Through its two golf tournaments – one of which being the Heritage – RBC has helped the Heritage Classic Foundation and Golf Canada Foundation raise more than $35 million in support of local charities across the U.S. and Canada. We’re proud to see our red and blue plaid socks featuring Sir Willie, the official mascot of the tournament, at the event.
