The Spirit Sox Queen Spreads Love in a Big Way
Aside from giving 5% of our profits back to those in need consistently, Spirit Sox ended 2024 with a bang by spreading even more love to those who needed it most. This past holiday season, Spirit Sox is proud to have donated hundreds of pairs of socks to help those in Asheville, NC, who are still recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Helene. “We were having a great year, so I got to give back quite a lot!” – Sock Queen, Lisa Riggs. We are proud to announce this was our largest donation in volume to date so we couldn’t be more honored to help community members get back on their feet (literally 😉).
“I knew when I started a company there had to be an aspect of giving back so my business could truly reflect who I am as a person.”
– The Sock Queen
In partnership with Julie Hruska, who led the local shoe drive this year in North Carolina, we provided our socks to pair with the shoes she was collecting for the community. Our hearts are so full after having the privilege to collaborate on this huge initiative to bring comfort to those affected on the East Coast by another natural disaster. We hope our efforts helped in some way to get families headed forward in the right direction to rebuild what they’ve lost.
In addition to the Hurricane Helene contribution, we’re also pleased to have donated hundreds of pairs of socks to the Christmas Mission in New York City and Mobile Loaves in Minnesota. We want to send a shout-out to recognize both caring organizations for all the incredible work they do and express how we’re so grateful to be a part of their efforts this past holiday season!
Thank you to everyone involved in not only these specific groups, but every selfless aid program out there giving back to those in need. We are and will always be committed to spreading warmth and joy wherever we can so we can’t be prouder to finish 2024 in such a positive light.
“Making the world a better place can be just that simple – daily acts of kindness,”
